Providing care to your garden like it’s my own 🌱

Some days I hate my job.
Exhibit A: 10 hours renovating a 360m2 lawn.
Some days I loveeeeee my job.
Exhibit B: Striping a 360m2 lawn only 2 weeks post reno 🤩

We’re 4 weeks into a 12 week restoration program on this Kikuyu and I couldn’t be more stoked with its progression.
Can’t wait to see this thing kick in summer 😮‍💨

The 5 stages of grief/turf renovations 😅

Reallyyyy gotta trust the process with these ones… 4 weeks between the first and last pics and she’s comin’ along nicely!
Pulled over half a tonne of thatch out of this kikuyu to get it down niceeeee and low with the cylinder mower this summer 😮‍💨
Only gets better from here!

Stay tuned for more recoveries as we head into the best part of the year ☀️

Favourite transformation so far! The perfect space for all the family to enjoy 🌞

Good prune of the citrus trees once they’ve finished yeilding and this place will be all up to scratch!

Thanks to DEQ Built for coming through with the goods and building the kids’ cubby house!

Low sunlight doesn’t have to mean no plants - it just means you have to pick the right ones! 🪴

Simple garden bed filler on a dead side of the house using hydrangeas and native violet 🌺
Soon enough these will cover the bed, designed to prevent any w**d growth.

First photo is 4 months after they were planted in June!
