💡Hacks to save spoons We don’t.

No Spoons to Cook came about after countless conversations of sharing hacks and recipes, talking about why do our clinical care teams gloss over diet or make it unattainable, how to make keto and nutrition easier and more accessible. Founders, Kerry and Leigh have been living a keto and low carb lifestyle for years, using food as medicine (in additional to our traditional treatments) and know it helps increase our spoons. We’ve learned ways to make our spoons count in the kitchen, finding ways to adapt how we shop, prep and cook to reduce the spoons it takes and still eat delicious, nutritiously dense food that we actually enjoy. We’re not claiming to have all the answers. No Spoons to Cook is based on our own experience and research, and what we know works best for us. Our recipes focus on low inflammatory ingredients, whole foods and are founded in ketogenic and low carb ways of eating.

Have you had your today? 💧🥤
Sodium, potassium, and magnesium are vital for maintaining fluid balance, nerve function, and muscle contractions.
Not drinking enough water and electrolytes can cause symptoms like muscle cramps, fatigue, and headaches, known as the "keto flu." Proper electrolyte intake helps prevent these symptoms, supports hydration, and ensures the body functions optimally during ketosis. Including electrolyte-rich foods like leafy greens, nuts, seeds, and avocados or using supplements can help maintain electrolyte balance and support overall health while following a ketogenic diet.

🐟Dive into the deep blue sea of health with Omega-3 fatty acids!🌊✨
Found abundantly in fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, and sardines, Omega-3s are the superheroes of the fat world—packed with incredible health benefits for your body and mind!
These essential fatty acids are like the ultimate multitaskers—they support heart health by lowering triglyceride levels and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Plus, they're a boon for brainpower, enhancing cognitive function and even potentially lowering the risk of age-related cognitive decline. 🧠💙
But wait, there's more! Omega-3s are also natural inflammation fighters, helping to soothe achy joints, support healthy skin, and even alleviate symptoms of conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and eczema.
Not a fan of fish? No worries! You can still get your Omega-3 fix from plant-based sources like flaxseeds, chia seeds, and walnuts. Just sprinkle them into your meals or blend them into smoothies for a delicious and nutritious boost!
So, whether you're a seafood lover or a plant-powered pal, don't forget to show some love to Omega-3s—they're the secret sauce to a healthier, happier you! 🌿💪

That spicy kick from chili peppers isn't just about flavor—it's got some serious pain-fighting powers too! 🔥 Here's the scoop:
🌶️ Anti-inflammatory Effects: Capsaicin has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation and swelling associated with various types of pain, including arthritis and muscle soreness.
🌶️ Potential for Chronic Pain Management: Some research suggests that capsaicin may have long-term benefits for chronic pain management. Regular use of capsaicin-containing products may lead to decreased sensitivity to pain over time.
🌶️ Happy Hormones: Eating spicy foods can trigger the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers. Endorphins are neurotransmitters that block pain signals and create feelings of pleasure and well-being, providing temporary relief from pain.
🌶️ Circulation Booster: Consuming chili peppers may help improve blood circulation, which can aid in pain relief by promoting healing and reducing stiffness and discomfort in affected areas.
🌶️ Topical Relief: Capsaicin is commonly used in topical pain relief creams and patches. When applied to the skin, it desensitizes nerve receptors called nociceptors, reducing the perception of pain. This can be particularly effective for conditions like arthritis, muscle pain, and neuropathic pain.
🌶️ Migraine Miracle?: Capsaicin has been investigated for its potential to relieve migraine headaches. While more research is needed, some studies suggest that capsaicin may help alleviate migraine pain when applied intranasally.

Chili peppers aren't just tasty—they're your secret weapon against pain. 🔥💪
