🔨 SMALLER JOBS DESERVE THE SAME ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

Not every project involves a complete renovation, but that doesn’t make the smaller jobs any less important.

While our larger projects are progressing, Ben has been busy taking care of plastering work across the Coffs Coast.

LATEST PROJECT – COFFS HARBOUR LAUNDRY & ROBE RESTORATION!

Here’s what Ben has been working on.

✅ Brand-new plasterboard ceiling installed in the laundry.

✅ New cove cornicing fitted throughout the laundry.

✅ Robe walls and ceiling sheeted with new plasterboard.

✅ Cove cornicing installed throughout the robe.

✅ All joints and fixings set and finished, ready for the final sand.

NEXT UP – PAINTING! 🎨

With just the final sanding to go, this project will soon be handed over to our painting team to complete the transformation.

And that’s one of the advantages of having multiple trades working together under the Painters Edge banner.

From the initial repairs through to the finishing touches, we can keep the work moving without the hassle of organising different contractors.

Great work, Ben!

🔨 THE FLOOR WAS STRIPPED RIGHT BACK. NOW LOOK AT THE PROGRESS!

What started with exposed floor joists is now a step closer to becoming a fully restored kitchen and living area!

Our Painters Edge carpentry team has been busy rebuilding the foundations of this insurance restoration project, making sure everything is done properly before the finishing work begins.

Here’s what’s been happening on site.

✅ Damaged flooring and subfloor removed.

✅ Existing floor joists prepared and levelled.

✅ New structural subfloor installed and secured.

✅ Tile underlay installed, ready for tiling.

NEXT STOP – THE TILING TEAM!

One of the biggest challenges with restoration work is dealing with what’s underneath.

You can’t simply cover up damaged flooring and hope for the best.

Everything needs to be solid, level and properly prepared before moving forward.

That’s exactly what our team has been working towards, and the difference already is impressive!

ONE TEAM. MULTIPLE TRADES. LESS HASSLE.

With carpentry, plastering, painting and tiling all part of what we do, Painters Edge can manage multiple stages of your restoration or renovation.

🔨 BIG CHANGES UNDERFOOT IN PORT MACQUARIE!

A massive flooring restoration project is taking shape, and our carpentry team has reached an exciting milestone!

Before the beautiful new timber flooring can go down, there’s plenty of work that needs to happen underneath.

And we’ve been busy getting it right!

✅ Vapour barrier installed throughout the affected areas.

✅ Acoustic underlay laid to help reduce noise.

✅ New plywood subfloor installed and secured.

✅ Final preparations completed for the new timber flooring.

🔥 NEXT UP – BLACKBUTT TIMBER FLOORING!

With the groundwork complete, we’re ready to start laying the new Blackbutt timber flooring throughout the property.

🔨 WHAT LIES BENEATH THE FLOOR MATTERS JUST AS MUCH AS WHAT GOES ON TOP!

Our carpentry team has been putting in some serious work on an upstairs, flood-affected kitchen in Cundletown, and this job is a perfect example of why preparation is so important!

With the existing tiles and old subfloor removed, the challenge was getting everything level and properly supported before the new flooring could be installed.

And it wasn’t a straightforward job! 💪

Our carpenters have carefully shaved approximately 25mm from six existing floor joists and installed extensive additional blocking and supports to prepare the floor for its rebuild.

It’s detailed, time-consuming work that most people will never see once the new tiles are laid.

But it’s exactly this attention to detail that makes the difference! 👌

With the new flooring underway and replacement tiles already onsite, we’re another step closer to bringing this flood-damaged kitchen back to life.

A fantastic effort from our carpentry team!

🔨🎨 THE JOB ISN’T FINISHED UNTIL WE’VE CLEANED UP! 👌

There’s more to quality workmanship than just how good the finished job looks!

Our carpentry and painting teams recently joined forces to give this home a fresh new look.

First, our carpenters replaced the existing architrave and skirting front faces with new pine timber throughout the hallway, dining area and bedroom.

Then our painters took over, preparing, filling, undercoating and painting the new timberwork, along with the surrounding walls, to bring everything together beautifully.

But here’s something we believe is just as important.

Leaving your home as clean and tidy as possible when we’re finished! 🧹

No unnecessary mess, no cutting corners and no leaving the clean-up for the homeowner.

Just quality workmanship from a team that respects your property.

👏 Another great result from our carpenters and painters!

It’s the little things that set us apart!

TWO TRADES, ONE TEAM, ONE GREAT RESULT! 💪

This is exactly why having experienced carpenters and painters working together makes such a difference!

Our carpentry team kicked things off by replacing the existing architrave and skirting front faces with new pine timber throughout the hallway, dining area and bedroom.

Then our painters stepped in!

✅ All new timberwork carefully prepared and filled
✅ Undercoated and painted in the client’s chosen colour
✅ Surrounding walls repainted for a consistent finish
✅ Everything cleaned up before we left

And there’s one thing we’re particularly proud of.

Take a look at how clean we leave our jobs! 🧹

We understand we’re working in someone’s home, and treating that home with respect is just as important as the quality of our workmanship.

No mess left behind for the owner to deal with.

Just a beautifully refreshed space, ready to enjoy!

👏 Another fantastic team effort from our carpenters and painters.

🔨 FROM PLASTERING TO PAINTING. THAT’S THE ADVANTAGE OF HAVING THE RIGHT TEAM! 💪

Another major stage completed, and this project is really starting to take shape!

Our lead plasterers, Matt and Lovey, have finished the setting and sanding, and the workmanship speaks for itself.

From the extensive ceiling work and bulkheads to those sharp square-set finishes, the boys have put in a huge effort getting every surface ready for paint.

And now comes the next stage! 🎨

With our own painting team ready to step in, we can keep the project moving without having to rely on another contractor.

Once painting is complete, the aluminium skirting and door frames can be installed.

One team finishes, the next takes over. That’s the benefit of having multiple qualified trades under one roof!

👏 Outstanding work, Matt and Lovey!

👀 Stay tuned. The next stage is going to make a big difference!

🔨 GOOD PLASTERING IS ABOUT MORE THAN JUST PUTTING UP SHEETS! 💪

And this is a perfect example of why experience matters!

Our lead plasterers, Matt and Lovey, have just completed the plasterboard installation on this project, and there’s been plenty of detailed work involved.

Working around conduits, service penetrations and tricky sections means every measurement and cut needs to be spot on.

The Team have also installed 10mm casing bead around the ceiling perimeters where they meet the existing concrete panel walls, creating a clean, consistent edge ready for setting.

It’s the attention to detail at this stage that makes all the difference to the finished result.

✅ Plasterboard installation complete
✅ Detailed cuts around services
✅ Ceiling perimeter casing beads installed
✅ Ready for the setting stage

👏 Great work from Matt and Lovey!

It’s the little things that set us apart!
