Curves, detail and craftsmanship ⭐

A beautiful entrance is often defined by the details.
Here, custom curved linings, designer cornice and Venetian-finished columns come together to create a refined architectural statement.
The flowing curves soften the scale of the space, while the detailed cornice and decorative column finishes add depth and character. It’s a great example of how skilled craftsmanship can complement the architecture rather than compete with it.

One of our projects during the construction stage 👷‍♂️

The outdoor area was really starting to come together here and the concreting, patio and pool surrounds all progressing as part of the broader project.

With multiple trades and stages involved, careful coordination was key to keeping the works moving efficiently, minimising unnecessary delays and ensuring each stage flowed smoothly into the next.
Good project management comes down to planning ahead, sequencing works effectively and coordinating trades to keep the job moving ⭐

Bubbling paint or ceiling staining is often the first visible sign that moisture has made its way into a ceiling.

On this Hope Island 4212 property, the ceiling is shows clear paint bubbling and surface deterioration — the kind of damage that shouldn’t simply be painted over.

Before any cosmetic repair, the source of the moisture needs to be identified and the affected area properly assessed. From there, damaged materials can be repaired and the ceiling prepared for a clean, lasting finish.

If you’ve noticed bubbling paint, staining or deterioration to a ceiling, it’s worth having it looked at before the damage progresses.

Once the wall linings come off, you get a much clearer picture of what’s really going on. 👀

At this Helensvale 4212 property, the affected area was opened up so the wall cavity could be properly assessed.

Behind the linings, there was clear moisture-related deterioration and mould growth to sections of the framing and adjoining materials. We also carried out moisture checks and used thermal imaging to assess the surrounding area and identify where moisture may still be present. 💧📷

This is the part of remediation that matters — not just treating what can be seen, but checking the condition of the materials behind the wall and understanding how far the issue extends.

If you’re dealing with mould, moisture damage, staining or deterioration, we can assess the area and help determine what needs to happen next.

Our client was extremely happy with the their outdoor entertaining area in Paradise Point 4216, which received a full plastering finish to create a smooth, seamless ceiling ready for painting🎨

From fixing and setting the joins and screw points through to the final finishing stages, this type of work is all about precision. 🛠️ With large ceiling areas like this, quality workmanship makes a big difference to the final result.

The plastering finish is especially important because natural light and reflection change throughout the day, which can highlight even the smallest surface imperfections.💡 Achieving an even finish helps the ceiling present well from every angle and under both artificial and changing natural light conditions.

The result: a more refined outdoor space that ties in beautifully with the home and waterfront setting.✨

Waterproofing through to finished shower 🚿

This new bathroom was taken through the important preparation and waterproofing stages before the shower area was completed with feature herringbone tiling, a recessed niche and brushed brass fittings.

The herringbone tile layout adds texture and detail to the space, while the finished result remains clean, practical and refined.

SEQ Building and Rectification Services provides bathroom construction, waterproofing and tiling services across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

This bedroom ceiling in Pacific Pines 4211 had been affected by water damage 💧 and needed more than a cosmetic touch-up.

The damaged ceiling was removed, replaced and finished ready for painting, bringing the room back to a clean, presentable standard.

⚠️ Water damage isn’t always just cosmetic. Visible staining or paint damage can be only part of the problem. If moisture is left untreated, it can contribute to mould growth, deteriorated plasterboard and, in more serious cases, deterioration of surrounding building materials.

That’s why getting the repair right matters — not just a quick cover-up.
