Hello, I’m James 👋🏼
I’m the designer behind At Studio Lume, an interior design studio based in Melbourne, and servicing regional areas of Victoria.
My passion for interior design comes from something pretty simple; I love the way a space can change how you live, feel and experience everyday life. For me, good design isn’t about creating a room that simply looks beautiful.
It’s about understanding the people behind it and creating something that genuinely feels like theirs.
I’ve had the opportunity to work across a range of projects, from residential renovations and new builds to commercial spaces, and every project has taught me something different. I particularly love the process of taking an idea, a floorplan or even a completely blank space and turning it into something considered, functional and personal.
Because a beautiful space means nothing if it doesn’t connect to the people living in it.
