Mother Nature has other plans for us this week 🌧️

With the rain settling in, we’ve made the call to close up for today and Friday to keep everyone safe. The paddocks are too wet for the harvesters, and there’s no point risking people or machinery trying to push through.

We’ll keep an eye on the weather and get back to the paddocks — and your orders — as soon as we can.

Stay safe out there, and enjoy the rain from somewhere dry. 💚

Mother Nature is our ultimate boss… and this week, she’s definitely calling the shots 🌧️

The rain is looking to settle in, so we have to put harvesting on hold until we can get a harvester back into the paddock.

For everyone with an order booked in — we haven’t forgotten about you! We’ll get back to harvesting and working through your orders as soon as the paddocks are dry enough to get machinery back in.

We know waiting isn’t ideal, but unfortunately there’s not much we can do when Mother Nature says “not today” 😂

👑 King’s Birthday Long Weekend 👑

Rosemount Turf will be closed Monday 5 October for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

We’ll be back to our usual hours Tuesday 6 October! 🌱

Old Faithful, Anchor, Mandy, Fiona & Casey…

But the newest member of the team is still nameless and feeling a little left out.

September has well and truly kicked things into gear 🌱☀️

Longer days, warmer weather, plenty happening in the paddocks and a whole lot of turf growing.

Here’s a little look at what the last month has looked like around the farm — and if this is anything to go by, spring is only just getting started. 💚

We’ve had the pleasure of having Sam from Nambour State College join us this week as part of his work experience program. 👋

Sam has jumped at every task we’ve thrown his way and has been a real asset to the Rosemount Turf team. He’s got stuck in, given everything a go and survived a week of farm life!

We reckon he’s earned himself a sleep in and a well-deserved school holiday after this week. 😂

🚜 WE’RE HIRING 🚜

We’re looking for a Haul Out Operator to join the Rosemount Turf team!

You’ll be the one keeping the harvesting operation moving — hauling out pallets, working alongside the harvesting team and helping with general farm duties when needed.

If you’re practical, reliable, happy to jump in wherever you’re needed and don’t mind getting a little dirty, we’d love to hear from you.
