Surfside Fresh Food Fair

This year it’s a spectacular twilight event for the first time, which will give the fair a very special carnival atmosphere.

The Fresh Food Fair is the biggest event in the Surfside Primary School calendar, where we all come together for a festive evening of food, music, market stalls, rides and much more. The fair is a community event that raises money for our prize winning Kitchen and Garden program. The program sets our school apart in the region, and provides students with unique and valuable hands on cooking and gardening experiences. Making the Fresh Food Fair a success ensures the continuation of the Kitchen and Garden program.

J10 LEMONADE MAKING – ADULT HELPERS NEEDED - AFTER DROP OFF THURSDAY MORNING!

Our J10 students are getting ready for their Fresh Food Fair lemonade stall, and we need a few extra adult hands!

We’d love some volunteers to help sterilise bottles and prepare the lemonade this Thursday, straight after school drop-off.

As the process involves sterilising and needs to be done safely, this one is for the adults only — no students helping this time!

If you can spare a little time, we’d be so grateful for your help. Every helping hand makes a difference!

Thank you for supporting our J10 crew and the Fresh Food Fair!

FRESH FOOD FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

A HUGE thank you to all the families who have already put their names down to help on the night and to everyone who has helped so far. We really appreciate your support!

Our biggest fundraiser is almost here, and we still need all hands on deck!

We’re asking every family to volunteer at least 2 hours during Fair Week or on Fair Day to help keep our stalls running smoothly and support our Kitchen and Garden Program.

We need help running stalls, preparing food in the kitchen and donating items such as cakes for the bake sale and treats for our decorating stalls and games.

Please add your name to the volunteer sign-up forms as soon as possible so we can organise the roster.

Every helping hand makes a difference. Thank you for supporting our school community!

Ok I seem to be having a bidding war in the silent auction on the Surfside DJ for a week - (that includes parents yeah? not just for the kids to use? The kids will love running back to their class while listening to Hanson MmmBop) 🤣 Who's with me Millennial mums?
Anyone else in a bidding war?
Also, we have added new items - have a look, a good look, there might be something on there that is a perfect Christmas Gift.
Happy raining day bidding.
