2500mm, 5 Drawer American Oak floating Vanity, with a combination of American Oak Veneer and Solid Timber inlays and handles, as well as a 3 door shaving cabinet with back lit natural white LED’s that frame the shaving cabinet.

3.6 Metre American Oak Bedhead, using crown cut veneer and solid timber vertical inlays, with x2 American Oak floating bedside tables grain matched all 5 edges.

I believe the small details count; book matching veneer as well as having the horizontal top timber cap overhang the vertical inlays.

Curved American Oak Vanity and Shaving Cabinet.

Super fun build at a home in Old Berwick, one of my favourites to date.

Using both American Oak Solid Timber and Veneers.
A few challenges presented themselves, the main one, having a 150mm radius on the mirrored door and then having the mirror overlap the end panel by 100mm. But without a doubt we worked it out.

Today’s install. Office fit out.

American Oak Veneer base, finished in a Marine blue, bench tops, 32mm Prime Oak.
X2 drawer cabinets, with x4 lockable file storage drawers.

Happy with the install and how it turned out.
On a design note I was dancing with the idea of having a 50mm vertically linished piece of brass to be used as skirting the curved base and panels. Meeting into the 50mm blue kickers to compliment the small brass details.

- Internal carcass and drawers 16mm black melamine
