What’s actually between the two panes of double glazing?

Our standard 28mm double-glazed units use a 20mm insulated cavity filled with Argon gas.

Argon is denser than normal air and helps reduce heat transfer through the glass.

There’s a lot more going on inside a proper double glazed window than you might think! 🪟

It’s one of those areas of the home that can easily be overlooked, but honestly, it’s one of the upgrades we think makes a bigger difference than people realise.
