60sqm Travertine French pattern project ✅💪

We run into a large amount of plumbing issues during the dig out process on this job, so a large thanks to Darren Underwood for a full on plumbing adjustment prior to us starting and Ben Iles for a last minute help with excavation 🪏

All the delays and hard work was worth it for this outcome 👌

Coming into these last few months before Christmas, I will be showing a hands on insight into some of our jobs and snippets of the process and labour that goes into completing some of our favorite type of works.

…….And also why our bodies ache weekly and why I feel 85 years old 🙂

I’m not normally one to do these types of posts, and the lads will absolutely flame me for this and potentially quit, BUT…

A huge ups to our boys for their 2026 footy awards!
Adzy (Langhorne Creek A Grade) was awarded the Rising Star and 5th in the BNF
Jock (Strathalbyn A Grade) was awarded the prestigious Paul Clark Most Improved

With a year of ups, downs, wins, losses, injuries, good games and bad games, I haven’t seen two young lads be so committed to weekly trainings and game days as these guys (since myself of course 😉)

Both of them pretty much knocked out a whole season without missing a training or game day, all while continuing to show up to work each week with a positive attitude.

As a long time Strath footballer, I may now be old and full of soft tissue injuries when ever I do TRY train or TRY play, but I do know how much effort and energy it takes to stay committed to footy while also being committed to your job.

Both clubs (and Vanscapes) are in good hands with the improvement these two continue to show each year - plenty to be proud of 💪🏉

A fun freshen up in Encounter Bay and the lads nailed this one👌
This under over job was locked in at a perfect time as we had the flexibility from the customer to come and go during the wetter days and weeks when we weren’t able to do much at our other jobs

65sqm Silver Travertine French pattern wet lay 💥

Steel edging install to define this customers driveway and turning circle with a fresh limestone rubble re surface 👌
We also constructed a steel edging & limestone screenings entrance path with some 600x400mm pavers the customers had laying around ready to go 💥

A gem of a project completed in the Aspen village.

We cant thank these amazing customers enough for their support and flexibility for us to come and go through the hardest weeks of winter.
We made an absolute mess of their back yard while starting this job due to the on going rain.
They understood the process that was needed and what we were dealing with and continued to support us through the days and weeks we couldn’t even walk through their back yard without sinking in mud let alone produce the quality of work needed.
We are stoked that we were finally able to get this job done today and that we have some very happy customers 🥰

Lawn dig out with soil prep🪏
Steel edging install 👷‍♂️
Coastal sandstone feature rock 🪨
Fitzgerald gravel for curved paths 〰️
A perfect mixture of native plants 🍃
All irrigated 💧

A few small jobs completed over the last week while dodging showers 🙏

Please feel free to reach out if you are thinking of getting some work done through winter.
Through this wet period, we can seem to have job and weather delays which means we are able to shuffle jobs around to suit timeframes.
Even if you are just looking to plan ahead, please contact us 🙏🍃🪏

A front yard refresh 💥

- Machine clear out, soil install and prep for lawn areas with a wide brown gravel entrance 👌
- 60m of 200 high steel edging installed with pine bark to complement the palm trees and surrounding property 🙏

Being the home of our 2 horses we are in, Vaniteux and Vaninetti, we were lucky enough to see how much effort and time goes into each horse daily to keep them fit and healthy 🐎

A fun back and front yard completed last week.

Dig out and prep for - Brick edging, irrigation, all soil install, Santa Ana turf, planting (chosen by customer), steppers and gravel with a feature bluestone wall raised garden bed 🙏 🍀

High up there with one of our funnest jobs to date 👌

These amazing customers needed help coming up with a design for their yard and awkward back corner that was low maintenance which was able to be utilized to their needs.

We started off with fixing and extending all irrigation works with a Kikuyu lawn add on, steel edging and a planted out garden bed along fence line.

Back corner began with steel edging paths for all clean lines, organic bluestone steppers, 3 tier corten raised bed, tinted timber raised garden beds with steel corners, yankamite in fill, moriac gravel install, wire repairs for star jasmine climbers, all other areas planted out and irrigated.
Tree rings for fruit trees in lawn to come 👌

A quiet and calming place to have a coffee and watch the veggies and plants grow overtime 🍀🥰
