Canterbury Heritage Home Garden Design | CX Landscape
There’s always something fascinating about the dialogue between old and new.
For this Canterbury heritage home extension, our garden design sought to create a seamless connection between the original century-old residence and its contemporary addition. The timeless character of the heritage architecture is balanced by clean modern lines, with neither competing for attention. Instead, the garden becomes the common language that brings them together.
A series of benches, two reflective water features, and a cascading wisteria structure provide the framework. Contemporary spatial planning is softened by traditional perennial planting, creating depth, texture, and a strong sense of place.
