YOU ARE INVITED!

I am messaging you today to invite you to a community garden networking event, run by a group of third-year dietetics students and hosted at UniSC.

The date and time for this event will be mid-morning on Monday 31 August.

If you could pass this message on to your members and volunteers, that would be great. This year we're looking at a focus on volunteering support and engagement and would love to facilitate some knowledge and experience sharing within and between different community gardens across the Sunshine Coast. We can guarantee this will be a great social and educational morning.

If you could let us know how many people from your garden are thinking of attending, that would be great. We'll let you know some more details in the coming weeks.

Just launched! Get ready to be inspired by our gardening workshop program:
The Backyard Series. 🌼

Saturday mornings from August to November, learn how to create beautiful native gardens with the Sunshine Coast region's leading native nurseries, Landcare groups, plant experts and eco-businesses.

Choose one or more workshops:

Woombye Community & Business Association (WCBA) is actively seeking community engagement regarding the proposed telecommunication tower. PLEASE, come along to the monthly WCBA meeting, 6 pm on 20th Feb Hill to learn more and have your opinion heard. You do not need to be a member to attend, however only WCBA members can participate in any votes on how / if the WCBA should respond to this proposal.
