Two painting quotes on the counter, and one is about half the other. Of course the cheaper one is tempting.

The question worth asking is what that lower number leaves out. If a painter has no insurance or WCB and someone gets hurt on the job, or something in your home gets damaged, it can end up on you. And if the paint starts failing in a couple of years, you're emptying the room and moving the couch all over again.
