About half and half liked each.....
So at the end of the day both are delish. I am biased to sweet potato personally

Happy Thanksgiving!! There is a multitude of things I am thankful for and reflecting on them today
Today I am bringing 2 pies to our family gathering for a show down- sweet potato vs pumpkin pie. If you haven't tried sweet potato pie I think it is a clear winner but we will see the verdict tonight

Ever wonder how to make your own crust? Its beyond easy- swipe to see➡️

Step 1: 2 cups white flour and 1 cup butter
Step 2: crumble until it looks like pic 3, kind of sand like
Step 3: add 1/2 cup of milk (I used 10% cream... because yum)
Step 4: mix until just combined, it will be flaky thats ok!
Step 5: roll on a floured counter (I use a Spatula to fold in half, then half again to put in the shell)
Fill with your pie mix and your done!

****Step 4 is most important- you can mix the butter and flour until the cows come home but once you add the liquid you want as little contact as possible. Over mixing causes really dense and hard crust.... ask me how I know 🙃 as soon as I altered that, the crust is amazing.
I use this universally- pies, chicken pot pie, quiche- its good all around

This cool weather has me day dreaming of mitts 😍
Looking through my stash at the different types of fur/ leather combinations. I have bright bold leather, traditional colors and nice warm neutrals. Fur i have everything from rabbit, fox, badger and racoon
I find such beauty in creating something that will be a fairly slim chance you will see anything quite the same. Hoping to get cracking for our winter markets. The selection may not be huge but the quality will be

I accidentally got pumpkin pie filling so these are a bit on the sweet side. Whoops.
Definitely will make these again... but with the right pumpkin
Finishing the night with completing some crafts- preparing for Christmas markets. These gloves are a pig suede, rabbit fur and lined with sheared beaver and wool. No cold hands with these babies. They are hand sewn so made to last
