Another flower season in the books🌸👊

Thank YOU for choosing Prairie Petals. To the ones who come year after year- thank you for sticking with us. To the ones who were new this year, thank you for venturing out and I hope to see you again next season. I love meeting new people from all over + I got to do just that this summer.

What I love most about every season is how happy everyone is to spend their time here. Being amongst the flowers brings out the good in people. I’ve seen it as well as heard it more times than I can count.
Welcoming all that came this summer felt, effortless. I feel in my element and right where I need/want to be. All season long the vibes were high🩷

I’m proud of myself for all the hard work I’ve put in to get to this point & I’m confident each year will bring just as much joy as this one.

I felt all the love & endless support from this flower loving community this growing season.

Come & go style- there will be no arranging
Snips will be provided.

Our girls are also selling our homegrown pumpkins and can be picked up this day between the hours above. Pumpkins will be picked this weekend, so feel free to message to come pick yours!

A dahlia butterfly🦋

Our masterpiece was a team effort and it came together perfectly. There’s nothing better than to slow down, get creative and do all the little things you enjoy.

She is hands down the prettiest butterfly I ever did see🩷🌸

Kelgai Ann🌸

A beautiful delicate waterlilly dahlia

Fact about waterlilly varieties- At night, the petals fold inward and close up. This is to protect its pollen and also hides the centre of the flower from nighttime insects.

Cells at the base of the petals loose water pressure when light levels drop. Come morning, the warmth + light restores the water pressure and they begin to fully open.
