Had a small water issue tape let go in a couple places, did the repair then Scraped and retextured. Turned out good.

Seems your own personal reno takes longer to get completed and need to change the order of operations due to living in it doesnt it?

Started the rebuild finally.

I did the plumbing which needed the drain vent attached in the kitchen wall which wasn't done back in the 70's

Electrical wires were added which wasn't connected to breaker panel correctly.

Had to hang the drywall and get the cabinets installed to put all the dishes and food somewhere.

Next build the countertops, mud walls, float ceiling painted texture to flat and re texture, do backsplash then remove interior doors, flooring install, install doors and trim and base then paint... Kinda backwards I know. But you do what you gotta do while being able to use the space I guess.

Some small texture flaking turned into a complete mess. Who ever did the work prior to this ceiling caused some real issues. Nothing bonded to the raw drywall. Wasn't even primed on the drywall board. Most of the mud paint and texture came off when scraped.

No problem fixing it we can fix anything.

Turned out perfect.
