My tree fungus collection. Every bracket and hoof fungus in this stash becomes a roof, a shelf or a doorway on a fairy house, including the build at the end. Watch them go on live: weekdays 3:30 PM, Sundays 7:30 PM on TikTok . One of a kind, handmade in Edmonton. Order form in bio.

Day 4 on the golem and today he got his skin. Darkened him down to proper clay and the moss lit right up against it.

Next up is the base. The fairy village at his feet gets its turn: the door goes brighter, an archway goes in, and a round of little details I have been saving for when the big man was standing on his own.

Soil Search is where we chat it all through with followers, and the TUG Hobs fan club is where the decisions happen. Hobs, there is a poll live in the club right now: what should I do next? Go vote.

Want a say in what gets built? Join the fan club on TikTok. Builds weekdays 3:30 PM MT, Soil Search Sundays 7:30 PM MT.

Meet my Golem.

In Jewish folklore, a golem is a protector made from river clay and mud, shaped by human hands and brought to life to guard a community that could not defend itself. The most famous golem comes from Prague in the 1500s, where Rabbi Loew is said to have formed one from the banks of the Vltava River and brought him to life by placing the word emet, meaning truth, on his forehead. Erase the first letter and emet becomes met, death, and the golem returns to dust.

He was never a monster. He was a servant. Too strong, a little clumsy, completely devoted, and always one letter between reality and from extinction.

Four hundred years later he is still the symbol of what we make to protect the people we love, and of the responsibility that comes with making anything that powerful, without the humility and wisdom required to shut it down. In my build, this Golem was conjured for protection by the fairies... from us. You can watch the build, cursing included, llive weekdays on my YEGTUFG TikTok account from 3 to 5 pm, and my creations go up for sale on Sundays, also live on TikTok at 7:30.

Why TikTok? Because I dont have enough followers for a live on Instagram! You do what you gotta do. See you there. #
