Happy Birthday, Ben!

Today we’re celebrating Ben, Site Superintendent at Rolling Tides Construction.

Ben brings years of hands on construction experience to RTC, with a background spanning industrial and high rise concrete, architectural formwork, framing, renovations, and residential construction. That range of experience, along with his strong work ethic and practical approach on site, makes him a valued part of our team.

We’re glad to have you on the RTC crew, Ben. Wishing you a great birthday and another successful year ahead!

Storage that earns its space.

Good storage is not just about having more room, it is about making the space you already have work better.

Thoughtfully planned shelving, built in drawers, and dedicated storage help keep everyday essentials organized and accessible while maintaining a clean, functional space. It is a simple detail that can make a big difference in how a home feels and functions.

Less clutter. More function. Better use of space.

Planning a new home, renovation, or multi unit project? Connect with Rolling Tides Construction and see how thoughtful details can make every square foot count.

Inside Unit 6 at Winter’s Gate

Here’s a look inside one of the 1 bed, 1 bath suites at 701 Craigflower Road. Drywall is done and the interior finishes are going in.

What’s going into it:
• Quartz countertops
• Matte black hardware throughout
• In-suite washer and dryer
• Heat pump for year-round heating and cooling
• Secure, lockable bike storage

Outside, the building is wrapped in Hardie fibre-cement siding over a rainscreen wall system. It’s built to BC Energy Step Code 4 at the zero-carbon level.

It’s a small footprint, built to last. We’re proud to be building it as the general contractor for Dale Degagne.

Follow along as we take Winter’s Gate to the finish line.

Matt Rasmussen & Madison Hallock Cross the Finish Line at HYROX Salt Lake City

And just like that… Matt & Madison crossed the finish line at the HYROX Salt Lake City Mixed Open Doubles!

Official time: 1:32, plus a 2-minute penalty.

They went into the race training for a 1:45 finish, especially with this being Madison’s first HYROX, and absolutely exceeded their expectations.

But this one was about more than a finishing time.

It’s a reminder of what can happen when you combine the right mentorship, training and mindset, and have people around you who are willing to push alongside you.

At RTC, we believe relationships are a huge part of success. Matt and Madison might spend plenty of time working together in the office, but apparently there’s always room for a slightly different kind of team-building workshop.

And we have to say… the pink was VERY on-brand.

A huge shoutout to Empire Athletics & Wellness and HYROX coach Cam Smith | Fitness Coach for getting our team race-ready, and to Makenzie Bad Frog Print & Promo for getting these two into some seriously dripped-out RTC gear.

It takes a team, and we couldn’t have done it without ours.

Honouring National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, we take time to recognize and reflect on the history and lasting impacts of residential schools, while honouring Survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

At Rolling Tides Construction, we encourage our team and community to use this day as an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect, and take action.

Take time today to learn more, hear Indigenous voices, and continue the conversation toward reconciliation.

🛠️ JUNIOR BUILDERS CAMP 🛠️

We just can’t get enough of our Junior Builders Camp!

From our little builders getting hands-on to plenty of smiles, laughs, and family time, it was a day full of moments worth sharing.

Watching the kids try something new and get a glimpse into the world of construction was a highlight, but seeing our RTC families come together made the day even better.

Building a strong team goes beyond the job site. Days like this remind us how important it is to create opportunities for our people and their families to connect, have fun, and make memories together.

Here are a few more candid moments from an unforgettable day with the RTC family. 🤍

Belmont Park — Final Stretch 🏡

The final stretch at Belmont Park is here.

After months of progress across this six-home development, Rolling Tides Construction is wrapping up the final home and preparing for the next big milestone: handover.

At this stage, our team is focused on completing the remaining finishing details and making sure each home is ready to welcome its new owners.

Seeing a project move from active construction into closeout is always an exciting moment. For Belmont Park, it means six new homes are getting closer to becoming exactly that — home.

Current update: The final home is wrapping up, with key handovers approaching across all six homes.

Stay tuned as we share the final stages of Belmont Park and celebrate another RTC project reaching completion.
