This little shelf started out as a wooden silverware tray from the dollar store. I painted it black, then sanded it back...

This little shelf started out as a wooden silverware tray from the dollar store. I painted it black, then sanded it back a bit to give it an aged look as that's what I'm going with for this multi shelf wall.😊

It's only Wednesday, but we're throwing it back anyway! A little look at a craft I used to do. 😁

I would make these pictures with polished rocks, using canvas, scrap wood and even shingles as the backgrounds. With a little twig, wire or twine added here and there for arms, stems and other details, the rocks could become flowers, people, dragonflies and all sorts of things.
I found it such a relaxing craft to do and when I used to sell my crafts at markets, these were quite popular.
Now I enjoy making pictures with flowers, and I'll share those another day.

Did you know - On Mars, fine dust in the atmosphere scatters light differently, making the setting sun appear blue instead of red. Neat eh?
