Casa Maricruz Perpetuating and resinifying traditional Spanish craftsmanship 🧞🍽 FUTURE IS HANDMADE

Casa Maricruz is rooted in the cultural soul of Spain — a bridge between generations and a living network of artisans keeping tradition alive against all odds. At our Casa, we celebrate handmade Spanish ceramics, glassware, woodwork, and linens with stories, time, and care, because the future is handmade.

Turns out, our glasses are pretty good at catching the light. ✨

A little colour, a little glow, and suddenly setting the table feels like the best part.

Hand-blown in Mallorca. Made to be mixed.

In search of the hands behind our next piece.

Every time we plan a new addition to Casa Maricruz, the search begins with the people who will bring it to life.

We look for artisans who carry knowledge and techniques passed down through generations, who understand their materials deeply, and who share our belief in thoughtful processes, lasting quality and pieces designed to be lived with for years.

For our next addition, that search took us to Galicia, where we explored traditional techniques and the smallest finishing details until we found exactly what we were looking for.

We’re not revealing it just yet.

Any guesses? 👀

You can hear when something has soul

Made by hand in Granada, where craftsmanship is passed from one generation to the next. Every piece carries the knowledge, gestures and traditions of the hands that made it.

Some things just sound different when there’s a story behind them.

One candle, so many possibilities

Hand-blown glass from Mallorca, filled with soy wax from Valencia. A little piece of Spanish craftsmanship made to be loved long after the last flame.

Once it’s finished, give it a second life as a vase, a glass, a jewellery holder… you name it!

The food hasn’t even been served, and there’s already so much of Spain on the table

Ceramics from Granada and Huelva, handwoven table linens from Mallorca, and Mallorcan hand-blown glass.
Different regions, different traditions, all coming together around one table.

A little celebration of Spain’s rich craftsmanship, before the first bite is even served.

To celebrate our anniversary, we’re looking at five Spanish craft traditions that have shaped Casa Maricruz from the very beginning — from hand-painted ceramics in Granada to blown glass in Mallorca and traditional woodwork in Galicia.

Different materials, different regions, different ways of making. All connected by the same thing: time, skill and a deep respect for craftsmanship.

Here’s to keeping these traditions alive, one piece at a time.

Happy 5th anniversary, Casa Maricruz 🤍

There’s something very special about looking back at these images. The launch, our first press feature, familiar faces, and all the excitement of seeing an idea we cared so deeply about come to life.

So much of what we hoped Casa Maricruz could be is already here in these moments: craftsmanship, beauty, stories, people coming together, and a deep love for the things made with care.

Feeling very grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey so far — and very excited for everything still ahead.
