Damp? Mould? There is always a reason!

What started as a seemingly minor patch of dampness on the surface (Images 1 & 2) turned out to be a much larger issue hidden completely out of sight.

Once we opened up the ceiling and removed the compromised drywall, the true extent of the damage was revealed: significant mould growth spreading across the hidden structure, fed by an active leak around the overhead piping.

This is exactly why tracing and finding the root cause of moisture is the most critical step in property maintenance. Simply treating or painting over surface dampness does nothing but buy time for mould to compromise your air quality and structure from the inside out. Sometimes it’s a humidity problem, lack of ventilation or something more serious such as water ingress!

If you notice unexplained damp spots, peeling paint, or a musty odor, don’t wait for it to break through like this. Find the source, fix the leak, and protect yourself from mould and your property! 💪🔨

We now need to fix the cause, let the area fully dry out properly before closing it back up to avoid trapping moisture in there and then we can put it all back together and get it plastered and painted like we was never there!

We took out an old, bulky glass door unit, opened up the structural wall, bricked in a sleek new frame, and hung a modern flush door. But the real star of the show? The finish.

Problem solved, seamlessly. 💪🌧️

With the rainy months on the horizon, we stepped in to protect this apartment complex’s underground car park from potential flooding. Our team cut a precise channel, installed a heavy-duty underground drainage system, and poured new concrete to secure it all.

But we didn’t stop at functionality. To keep the courtyard looking pristine, we carefully hand-patterned the new concrete to perfectly match the existing cobblestone design. Once the new section is fully cured and painted, you won’t even be able to tell where the ground was broken.

We don’t believe in cutting corners. Taking the extra time to do things right means lasting protection and zero visual compromises for our clients. 🛠️✨

Remember the transformation photos I shared of this previous job? The custom carpentry was done but we were just getting started!

Now the vision is fully realized. Every unit and wall has been meticulously hand-painted to create a flawless and seamless finish. We custom-stained the open shelving to perfectly match the original ceiling beams, tying the entire architecture of the room together. To top it all off, the newly installed custom LED strip lighting brings the woodwork to life, casting the perfect warm glow over the finished details.

Tiling Before ➡️ After ✨

This apartment was ready for a serious upgrade. We started by removing old tiles that had seen better days, preparing the space for a complete transformation.

From raw timber to a completely seamless, built-in feature. 🪚🛠️ There is something incredibly rewarding about starting a job with nothing but raw materials and a customers vision for the space.

For this project, the goal was to complement the fireplace and exposed beams with custom alcove cabinets and floating shelves that looked like they belonged there from day one. Every single component was bespoke built on-site. When you are dealing with character homes, walls are rarely perfectly straight, which is why hand-cutting and scribing every piece is the only way to get that flawless, glove-like fit. I built the lower cabinetry units from scratch to maximize storage, capped them with clean pine timber tops and then fitted the spaces above with matching floating shelves to keep the space feeling open and bright.

Months of planning, hours of precise cutting and a lot of sawdust later, the structure is complete. Next up: styling and finishing touches. 🖌️🎨✨

A small job with big functionality!

Our customer wanted a large outdoor ceramic sink installed for all those messy jobs that don’t belong in the kitchen sink such as washing gardening tools, cleaning muddy pots, rinsing pet bowls, washing dog gear, and tackling all the other dirty tasks life throws at you. 🌿🐾

They asked if it could be done, and of course our answer was YES!

Now they’ve got a practical, beautiful outdoor workspace that makes everyday jobs so much easier.

No matter how big or small the project, we love helping customers turn great ideas into reality. After all, anything is possible when you’ve got the right builders working for you!

Bathroom number 3 — proof that even the smallest spaces can make the biggest impact ✨

This WC may only be compact, but the transformation completely changed the feel of the room. We removed the old outdated stained wood worktop and replaced it with a sleek white fluted floating vanity unit, finished with a worktop mounted sink and tap for that clean contemporary look.

One of the simplest but most effective changes? Painting the old stained dado rail above the marble the same colour as the walls to completely soften and modernise the space and honestly… it just works!
