Do you have a pellet or wood burning stove in your restaurant, bar, rental property or holiday let? Are you a property management company? Both pellet and wood burning stoves are required to be swept every 12 months. This must be carried out by a qualified, legally registered persons. We can offer an invoice so you can claim against your tax and IVA. We will also supply a certificate. All this is for the safety of your customers, clients and guests. The dangers of stoves that have not been swept and serviced can be anything from carbon monoxide poisoning to fires. It's better to be safe than sorry if a claim is brought against you by a customer, tenant or guest.
We also ensure the appliances comply with regulations.

***Important information***
We've been out this week to Oliver who has a few rental properties in the area. He needed a sweep and service on each of his stoves but needed an invoice/ IVA. Unfortunately the 2 previous sweeps he's contacted neither could provide him with IVA details for him to claim back. Therefore if these sweeps cannot provide this, this can only mean they are not legal and not registered to pay Autonomo, iva and taxes? No matter how you earn here you need to pay IVA! If this is the case and others aren't legal what do you think a certificate will mean if you need to make an insurance claim? The certificate will mean nothing!
How are these sweeps so reasonable in price, because they don't have to pay accountant fees, Autonomo, IVA and taxes. Is it worth the risk?
We are fully registered and qualified and the point is we can sleep at night knowing everything we do is above board.

With the weather cooling in the evenings it will be soon time to light those stoves to keep warm. Has your chimney or flue been swept? Has the stove been serviced? The chimney is supposed to be swept every 12 months for your safety and to ensure there is no build up of soot and creosote. This can cause a blockage, carbon monoxide and can easily catch fire. If the chimney did catch fire and you'd not had it professionally swept by a qualified engineer in the last 12 months will your insurance company pay out? This is not going to be a cheap repair!

A recent professional sweep and service carried out in Almanzora.
This was a modern cassette Bronpi stove with large panoramic glass.
We removed all the internal components, including the side and rear firebricks along with the grate and top baffle all components were inspected and thoroughly cleaned.
Due to the internal cross bar located across the flue exit we used our power rods for sweeping the full 6 metre flue.
As you can see from the photos the internal firebox had plenty of soot deposits so these were removed and the fire box cleaned.
Once the sweep was completed we inspected the soot, this was light and powdery, a perfect example of burning good quality fuel and a stove that is highly efficient.
The fan panel was removed and the fan was tested and cleaned.
We refitted all the internal components and cleaned the glass.
The stove rope didn't require replacing.
Finally we issued certification and the stove is now ready for winter.
