MAISON PIC — VALENCE

MAISON PIC — VALENCE

At Maison Pic, the lobby becomes a landscape.

We imagined the central circulation as an indoor river, naturally extending towards the garden revealed at the end of the perspective.

The polished stone captures light and reflections, evoking the surface of water, while the rugs form islands within an abstract, dreamlike landscape.

A once discreet axis becomes a guiding thread, leading guests through the Maison Pic experience.

"Ze drama." ( the french way to say it !)

Paris isn't always sunshine, so neither are our visualizations.

For this façade renovation, we embraced a rainy evening, wet stone, and reflections on the pavement.

Because if a building feels timeless under a grey Parisian sky, it will shine in every season.

Facade design by MGID.

Just four materials, smoked oak, calacatta viola marble, aged brass, and porcelain.

From this restrained palette, we envisioned the back bar as a landscape. A sculpted wooden forest where porcelain leaves and flowers come alive beneath a constellation of delicate light bubbles, creating the quiet magic of fireflies at dusk.

More than a hotel bar, it is an indoor garden where materials, light, and craftsmanship come together to tell a single story.

For years, I've been designing spaces filled with warmth, colour and emotion.

Fuga Space was born from that same mindset. When I imagined it, I didn't think about disco as a style—I thought about it as a feeling.

A place where light, movement and joy come together.
These portraits are simply an extension of that philosophy.

A way of showing a little more of the person behind the projects.

Because maybe the spaces we create say a little about who we are ...

Every object tells a story.

An open book, a carefully sourced antique jar, a simple bouquet of flowers, and a table designed by MGID… Nothing is placed by chance.

It is through the balance of unique pieces, materials, and light that a truly timeless atmosphere comes to life.

We don't just design interiors.
We curate environments where bespoke furniture meets carefully collected objects, creating spaces that feel authentic, warm, and deeply personal.

At MGID, we are the creators of these atmospheres.

For Notariat Associés, located on Île de la Cité in Paris, we sought to express the balance between precision and sensitivity.

The discipline of a notary's office is reflected in a structured architectural language, while the sculpted marble curves introduce softness and poetry.

A detail inspired by Italian marble craftsmanship, where stone becomes movement.

Behind its bold 70s-inspired club aesthetic, FUGA SPACE is designed for flexibility.

Within moments, the auditorium transforms into a dining venue, adapting to different event scenarios while preserving its identity. A space where expressive design meets everyday functionality.
