This is one of my apprentices on a tea break. She helped by getting paint in her tail and generally butting in when I was concentrating. She is currently banned from the workplace unless specifically requested 😂

I can often be found browsing the amazing wallpaper at Linwood Decorating Supplies.
This stunning paper has been a dream to complete. It looks amazing and has transformed this hall, stairs and landing.
Brilliant choice of complementary colour too 😊

New bathroom with new plaster painted - mist coated to make sure that the paint absorbs into the plaster, ceilings and wood work in white with the walls in matt Valspar Agreeable Green.

Sometimes we’re asked to do a job on a tight budget. Not my favourite but with this one you can really see the difference from tired paintwork to clean and bright ready for the new people to move in

We had a few days off last week so thought I’d show you a bit about what I love to do when I’m not working.
Took our 4 dogs to a lodge with a hot tub in Sherwood Forest so plenty of walking, chilling and eating with the odd tipple in the hot tub with a watcher 😂
Book supplied by Fiction and Fairy Lights in Hednesford. I do usually read a kindle but there’s something special about a real book

These feature walls look amazing. The customer has colour matched the wallpaper perfectly. Just the wallpaper installed by me 😊

From cracks and water stains to a nice bright finish. Paint colour: Healthy, wealthy and wise

Colour was matched to be as close to original as possible

There’s something satisfying about taking an office and waiting room that’s a bit tired and transforming it into a space that can be used.

- cracks sorted
- oil stains removed
- spiders evicted

Instead of white we’ve gone for two shades of grey on the walls and woodwork to keep it looking clean. Scrubbable matt paint too so it lasts for longer. It’s last makeover was over 10 years ago so a great result

This week has seen lilac in silk paint transformed to white matt with green accents (Scottish Highlands). The matt is scrubbable so no need for silk paint now.
