☀️ Another Solar & Battery Installation Completed in Lurgan, Co. Armagh! 🔋⚡
A recent project completed by Allen Electrical Contracts Ltd, helping another customer reduce their reliance on the grid and future-proof their home.
✅ 12 × Solar Panels
✅ Solis Hybrid Inverter
✅ 10kWh Battery Storage
✅ myenergi eddi – using surplus solar energy to heat the customer’s hot water for FREE ☀️🚿
✅ Fuseboard Upgrade
✅ Split Essential Circuits for Battery Backup – keeping selected circuits powered during a power outage
✅ Zappi Glo EV Charger installed at a reduced rate as part of the solar package

The customer doesn’t currently have an electric car, but decided to future proof their home by having the Zappi Glo installed alongside the solar system, ready for when they make the switch to an EV. 🚗⚡

This system makes the most of the energy generated from the roof powering the home, charging the battery and using surplus solar to heat the hot water through the eddi, rather than sending that energy back to the grid. 🔋☀️🚿
And with essential circuits backed up from the battery, the customer can keep selected parts of the home powered during a power cut.

☀️⚡ RECENT INSTALLATION – COUNTY TYRONE ⚡🔋

Another great project completed by Allen Electrical Contracts Ltd.
We initially installed a Zappi GLO EV charger for this customer, giving them a smart and convenient way to charge their electric vehicle.
After seeing the benefits of EV charging, the customer wanted to take things a step further and reduce their reliance on the grid as energy costs continue to rise.
We designed and installed a complete Sigenergy solar PV and battery storage system, including 10kWh of battery storage.

☀️ Solar PV – generating clean, renewable electricity from the customer's roof.

🔋 10kWh Battery Storage – storing surplus solar energy to be used when it's needed, helping maximise the value of the solar system.

💧 myenergi eddi – using surplus renewable energy to divert power to the hot water cylinder, helping provide free hot water from excess solar generation rather than sending that energy back to the grid.

🚗 Zappi GLO EV Charger – allowing the customer to conveniently charge their EV and make the most of their home energy system.
It’s a great example of how EV charging, solar PV, battery storage and hot water diversion can all work together as one smart energy solution.
