To really appreciate the finish on this one, you HAVE to see the before photos… 👀

This one was all about getting the preparation right and bringing some fresh life back into a tired hallway.

The walls needed plenty of attention, with the walls showing what was minor cracking under old lining paper. Making sure they were properly raked out and taking cracks wider than they were instead of just filling over, preventing them from returning.

The woodwork and trim were finished in Theo Blue by Claybrook Studio eggshell, with matching emulsion on the walls to bring the whole space together.

More importantly it’s the steps that not everyone sees ! Two coats of primer to all the woodwork throughout and 4 tops coats, all allowed to dry and harden properly between coating.

A great example of how the right colour, thorough preparation and a quality finish can completely change a space.

All sanding completed by our dustless sanding setup keeping the home dust free through the preperation stage.

Not every job we complete is a large-scale project 👨‍🎨

For this one, the customer had started painting their downstairs WC themselves and got part way through before asking us to come in and complete the job, bringing everything together with a professional finish.

A smaller project, but one that made a big difference to the space before a sale🏠

We’re always happy to take on smaller decorating jobs alongside our larger projects, whether it’s a WC, single room, hallway or a few areas that need freshening up. 😊

Well, that’s the last of the summer weather and what a run we’ve had! ☀️

Its been extremely busy over the summer completing multiple exterior and interior sash window projects, amongst plenty of other decorating work, so we’ve definitely fallen behind on the posting side of things! 🤣

With the exterior decorating season now coming to an end, if you’re thinking about having any exterior work completed next year, we’d recommend getting in touch early and booking ahead. Our diary can fill up quickly once the warmer weather returns.

We’ve got plenty of recent projects to share, so keep an eye out for some of the work we’ve been getting stuck into! 🎨

Not every room needs a dramatic colour change to make an impact.

This kitchen and dining room simply needed a full refresh, along with some minor preparation, to bring everything back to life. Keeping the same colours really made it feel brand new again.

Sometimes it’s the clean lines, smooth finish and attention to detail that make all the difference.

There’s something special about being asked back by a previous customer. It’s always a great sign that they trusted the quality of the work the first time around.

This time, we gave this room a completely new feel with a rich green that adds plenty of character while still feeling warm and inviting. A lot of work went into making sure this was correctly prepared given the different finishes across the room prior to paint.

It’s amazing how much the right colour can transform a space.
