Today I visited the Homebuilding & Renovating Show with Nemo from Nemo Group.

We’re considering taking a stand ourselves this time next year, so today was all about seeing what caught our eye, how other businesses had designed their stands and, most importantly, working out what we might do differently.

I absolutely love this side of running a business — looking for inspiration, chatting to suppliers and exhibitors, and making plans for how we can grow and expand.

I love using statement pieces in my interiors, and this gorgeous sofa and pair of Margaux Swivel Chairs from PURE WHITE LINES were perfect for this space.

The clean mid-century lines and soft velvet of the pieces add a little bit of glamour, whilst the hidden swivel makes them much more versatile than they first appear — and, most importantly, they’re incredibly comfortable too!

I love how the sofa and chairs work together to anchor the room and bring personality to the whole scheme. A little bit glamorous, a little bit quirky and definitely not boring.

So, of course, I couldn’t resist entering them into the PURE WHITE LINES competition. 🤞

A brilliant day yesterday at the Grand Designs Live with a lovely client.

So much inspiration, fresh ideas, and plenty of exciting finds for upcoming projects — I always find these shows such a great way to see everything in one place and spark new creativity.

We also managed to sneak in a gorgeous tapas lunch (it would have been rude not to!) with a couple of cheeky glasses of rosé in the sunshine.

The perfect mix of work and a little bit of indulgence — exactly how design days should be.

This was a full strip-out and redesign of the ladies & gents toilets, and I love how it’s turned out 🤍
Classic panelling, warm neutrals, touches of brass and black to keep it feeling fresh, and just enough styling to soften it all.

Proof that even the smallest spaces deserve proper attention.
