Hello all!

Just a weekly update on another project finished in Castleton with a return customer. This Valspar colour Snug as a Bug brings some real warmth and depth to this corridor whilst making use of the window lighting.

Hello all!

Here's an update on some of my more recent work.
This customer in Norden had a spare room that had sustained damage from a bad leak. While the source had been found and dealt with, the damp was still present in some of the plaster. After a good clean, scrape back, some stain blocking and a bit of Easifill 45, we had a good solid foundation to prep and paint over with the colour Dulux Morning Light to make the best use of the natural light.

Hello all!

Here's another finished project over the line, over in Newton-le-Willows.

The customer wanted a Brilliant White wash throughout the hall, stairs, landing and kitchen to make use of the light and to give focus to their various frames and mountings that they wanted putting up.

The bigger projects out of this were the new plaster areas, but most certainly the MDF cupboards and shoerack in hall that needed priming, undercoating and a Satin Finish.

Hello all!

Another week; another job finished in a hall, stairs, landing and downstairs toilet in Stockport. Brilliant White to freshen up the ceilings, skirting and doors, then some Dulux Natural Calico above the panelling before Aquaguard Satin in Dulux Soft Truffle on the panelling for a warm contrast from the original grey in a durable finish. The feature wall in the downstairs toilet in Valspar Bear Hug is a nice touch too without being overly imposing.

Evening all!

Finished the last bit of outdoor work before the cold sets in for the season, and these window blocks needed some particular TLC. Scraping back the old blockwork before mixing some Toupret Rock Solid Repair Filler to form the base, followed by some Masonry Filler to refine the edges once it had dried and cured. A good sanding and finishing it all of with a few coats of Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Satin in Anthracite Grey and these have turned up a treat.

A big job that took well into this week alongside Dean Evans Painters over in Holmfirth. A beautiful property needing a fresh start with Brilliant White in Acrylic Durable and Satin on the woodwork; as well as bleaching out this strong red feature wall leading into the dining room.

Evening all!

Apologies for the late night update on my most recent project, but I'm currently on holiday!
Another project in a beautiful cottage in Norden, and these cosy spaces have really been turned around. Most of the wallpaper had already been stripped beforehand; but a fair amount of filling and sealing of surfaces was required, along with some surgical-papering, before myself and Dean Evans Painters could finish the walls in that smooth Dulux Natural Hessian. The woodwork also needed some serious priming before bringing up in that Brilliant White Satin. All in all, another happy customer!

Evening all!

Just an update on another job finished in Norden; a flat needing a fresh start with the customer wanting a white-wash throughout. Whist straight-forward as far as colour scheme, dealing with a variety of surfaces and making them uniform in finish can make a job bigger than expected, and this flat required thorough preparation before a brush and roller could be picked up.
