Customers needed storage area creating in the attic with better access.
Joists all strengthened and noggins put in for new hatch opening before boarding out.
Also 2 ceilings over boarded to put a flat finish on instead of the old artex.

40 SEC ROLLER CLEANING HACK😁😁

No expensive specialised cleaning gear.
Just an old wheelie bin and a jet wash.
And virtually dry when you take it out.
Thought I would share if you've just done a long day's graft and then your day still isnt finished having to come home and cleaning all your rollers down.
I was at a point where I didn't want to load a roller up because of the cleaning or have multiple rollers with clingfilm wrapped round.

P.s. let me know if your in the trade and have a better way / invention.
Would be nice to hear back😁

Another kitchen fit.
Old kitchen ripped out, half the floor needed to be replaced due to a slow leak from one of the water pipes over many years.
Pipes rerouted for new dish washer and washing machine.
Found the Wren Kitchens units were a breeze and of really good quality with good schematics and wren support. So cannot fault them as it made the build a lot easier.
Cannot take credit for quartz worktops or splash backs.
Just the flooring to go down now and very happy customers as was a considerable amount cheaper than other quotes (who couldn't do the whole of the work)

Long distance job.
Customer currently living over in Canada but coming back here to live due to health reasons, in a couple of weeks. Met her briefly before booking her in, while she was over.
All correspondence done over phone with job list.
She had been worried about the guttering as it was running down side of the house but couldn't believe a quote she had been given, which was over £1,000 !!
Old guttering removed, tied in next doors into the customers downcomer where the problem had been. All new hangers, guttering, downcomer pipe and clips.
New door handles where there had been an attempted break in.
Outside tap installed but raised the height for customers needs
Coping stones all loose and two broke.
All taken off, relaided along with 2 new coping stones, pointed in and sealed off.

Customer so happy with the result and that she had someone she could trust and rely on to do the work

Dining room sorted.
Customers had been left right in it by a firm who were going to be putting in a wood burner and then discovered the chimney was blocked off.
Chimney breast had been skimmed with an angry badger is the only way I could describe it.
Hearth slate was protruding out 8 inches in free air and would have just cracked and broke if anything had been dropped on.
Wall taken back and skimmed off smooth, oak beam installed. Wooden support fitted under hearth, skirting boards fitted then room painted out as well as landing.
Also living room painted, boxed in some pipes and fitted cladding in the shower (no pics....to busy lol)

Customers had a couple of falls into this wasted space and was becoming too much of a hazard.
Framework and decking put down along with handrail and grab handle.
Also rerouted the guttering to feed into water butt.
Nice safe area now and customers at ease and really happy with end result

Job i forgot to put on.
Just a.couple of simple gates made with frames. Membrane down and dumpy bag of stone to finish it all off.
Other work done in the house, new door hung, kick boards fitted in kitchen, new door handles ground floor, door repair, new sink taps and issue with draught in conservatory hopefully resolved.
All of which no pictures 🙈🤣

Bit of a transformation for a regular customer. Bushes all taken back and trimmed. New border installed, soil leveled out, membrane fitted around tree's, bushes and plants and then 3 dumpy bags of stone to finish off.
What a difference and a lovely further coupe of messages on the evening just to say how thrilled she is with her new garden

The job i didn't want but customer didn't want anyone else doing it.
Last time it was done, they had just painted over the paint which had all come away from the wooden eaves.
All stripped back, wood primer and painted.
Walls had to be stabilised in places due to flaking paint, also where new windows had been fitted and concreted back in.
But looks well now and a far easier job when it comes round in a few years time to do again.
Main thing is, the customers are so pleased with the result
