Now the roof is on, we're moving inside warming the place up!

Roof on - just in time for autumn 🍂🏠

Another big milestone reached at our Buckfastleigh new-build project.

The roof is now on and tiled, and the house is really starting to take shape.

Great to get to this stage before the autumn weather properly arrives.

There’s still plenty to do, but it’s always satisfying when a project reaches the point where you can really see the finished home beginning to emerge.

Another big week of progress at our Buckfastleigh new build! 💪☀️

Despite temperatures pushing 30°C, the team has been putting in an incredible shift.

✅ Blockwork has now reached lintel height, with the structure really starting to take shape and the layout of the house becoming visible.

⚡ We’ve also completed the changeover to the new permanent electricity supply, another major milestone that keeps the project moving forward.

🌲 And as if that wasn’t enough, we tackled the huge Leylandii hedge, cutting it right back to open up the site, improve light and create a much better working environment.

It’s weeks like these that remind you that building isn’t just about bricks and mortar—it’s about teamwork, determination and keeping projects moving whatever the weather.

A huge thank you to everyone involved. We’re looking forward to getting the lintels in and pushing on towards the first floor. 👊

If you’re planning a new build, extension or renovation anywhere in Devon, we’d love to help bring your project to life.
