◾️All ceilings given x2 coats of Dulux Trade Supermatt

▫️Walls given x2 coats of Valspar Premium Matt in Biscuits Crumbs with one feature wall going up the stairs given a coat of white to hide the blue followed by x2 coats of Valspar Premium Matt in Tea Party

◾️All woodwork and doors prepped and given x2 coats of Dulux Trade Satinwood

▫️x2 radiators prepped and given x2 coats of radiator paint to finish the transformation

◾️Walls given x3 coats of Valspar Premium matt mixed in Candy Kisses

▫️MDF bed and wardrobe built by Cmcjoinery primed, sanded and given x2 coats of Valspar Premium Multi Surface & Furniture dead flat matt again mixed in Candy Kisses

Only the walls, wardrobe and bed completed on this one. To be honest i’m not too impressed with the colour match from Valspar on the bed and wardrobe but will revisit this when fully cured and maybe go down a different route

☑️ Couple of before & after pictures from the dining room project for a returning customer in Ellesmere Port 👍🏼

Nearly there on this one, only waiting for the skirting boards to be delivered and fitted. Made up with how this ones turned out so far, full rundown as follows:

◾️Panelling, skirting and old door removed

▫️All walls stripped of wallpaper

◾️New door casing and stud work for hiding all the pipework completed by Cmcjoinery

▫️Radiator removed and pipework rerouted into the ceiling alone with a new radiator installed by heatflow gas and plumbing

◾️First fix and second fix electrics completed by Lew for x6 spot lights in the ceiling, along with x2 socket added and x1 socket sunk into a wall

▫️Artex ceiling overboarded and new stud work for hiding the pipework boarded

◾️Chases bonded out and almost every wall bonded to bring level

▫️Whole room given a fresh reskim ready for painting

◾️Whole room mist coated

▫️Ceiling given x2 coats of Dulux Trade Supermatt, all walls given x2 coats of Dulux Daffodil White, x2 stained doors prepped, undercoated and given x2 coats of Dulux Polished Peddle mixed in Valspar Premium Wood paint.

◾️New oak door fitted with the other two being replaced at a later date to match.

Once the skirting boards arrive we’ll be returning to this one to finish off.

📔 Extremely limited availability leading up to Christmas now, the diary is already open for 2027 with work being booked in for the new year 🫶🏻

☑️ Phase one complete on the latest project for a returning customer in Ellesmere Port 👍🏼

Loads been done this week to get to this stage. There wasn’t one straight wall in the whole room 🫪 Full rundown as follows:

◾️Panelling, skirting and old door removed

▫️All walls stripped of wallpaper

⏳Another transformation started today for a returning customer in Ellesmere Port 👍🏼

Plenty to do on this one, today all panelling removed along with the skirting, the wall cupboard and all wallpaper stripped.

We’ll be sorting out the dated artex ceiling and levelling out all the bowed walls. Spotlights going in the ceiling, pipework moved along with a new radiator, new skirting and the whole room painted 💪🏼

🤩 Now this is definitely a first for me, waking up to this review over on our Google page from a customer we haven’t completed any work for 🙌🏼

The back story to this one, the customer got in touch asking if we could take a look at a couple of ceilings that had been skimmed by another plasterer. They weren’t too bad in my opinion just a couple of areas and not enough to warrant a reskim anyway and nothing a good couple of hours filling and sanding wouldn’t fix……ok yes I hear you….you shouldn’t have to spend hours filling and sanding new plastered walls or ceilings but the customer has already parted with their hard earned cash, the plasterer refused to rectify the issue unless paid again and became aggressive with the customer.

There’s a way of treating your customers and their homes and this clearly isn’t it 🫣

☑️ Before & after pictures from the insurance job over in Chester that was struck by lightning all finished up ⚡️🔥

Complete run down of this job as follows…….

◾️Ceilings in living room and kitchen pulled down to assess damage caused to plumbing, electrical wiring, insulation and joists

▫️Insulation replaced where needed.

◾️Section of fire damaged wall around the boiler cut out, reboarded and patch skimmed so the plumber could hang the new boiler

▫️Ceilings reboarded and skimmed bringing it down a few inches into the existing walls to prevent the ceiling edge cracking.

◾️Fresh plaster mist coated

▫️Ceilings and all walls painted up in Dulux Trade Supermatt (still drying out in pictures)

All ready for the electrician to return for his second fix and for the new kitchen to go in 👍🏼

◾️Fireplace surround and mantle removed

▫️Hole boarded up let by fire removal

◾️Flown section of plaster removed and wall bonded out before being patch skimmed with a perfect blend into the existing wall

🎨 We might be returning to this one with the customer asking us to give them a quote for decorating the whole room 💪🏼
