🏠 From Rotten Timber to Low-Maintenance uPVC & Cat Flap 🐱

Urdor.com were recently contacted by a new customer who wanted a cat flap fitted into their existing window.

On attending site, we inspected the existing timber window frame and unfortunately found it to be badly rotten. Due to the extent of the rot, we advised the customer that replacing the frame would be the best option rather than trying to repair it.

We recommended a new uPVC window frame, which would provide a more durable, low-maintenance solution for the future. The customer agreed and selected their preferred colour.

We then re-attended site, carefully removed the existing window and installed the new uPVC frame, complete with the new cat flap. 🐱🔨

Another job completed and another happy customer! ✅

🔨 Another job completed by Urdor.com! 🪟
Urdor.com were contacted by The Wharf Café in Sowerby Bridge regarding a damaged pane of single glazing to their shop front.
We attended promptly, made the area safe by safety filming the damaged glass, and carried out a full survey for the replacement pane.
We then re-attended at a time that suited the customer, and importantly, when the café was closed, allowing us to safely remove the damaged glass and install the new replacement pane with minimal disruption to the business.
Another job completed safely, professionally and with the customer’s needs in mind. ✅

🔨 Another quality glass installation completed by Urdor.com 🔨
Urdor.com were recently contacted to supply and fit toughened laminated glass into an oak frame.
Due to the unique shape of the frame, we attended site initially to take accurate measurements and create a template to ensure the glass was manufactured to the correct shape and specification.
We also advised the customer to have the glass heat soaked, helping to reduce the risk of spontaneous breakage and making it more suitable for the temperatures being experienced around the UK.
Once the glass was manufactured, we re-attended site with the glass and oak beading to complete the installation.
As you can see from the photographs, the finished result looks fantastic! 👌
A lovely job to be involved with, and another example of the care and attention to detail we put into every installation.
