Great to see Be Blunt recognised as a local Livingston business. 🙌

Thank you to Angela Constance MSP for taking the time to meet with Dominic and hear the story behind Be Blunt and why we set out to create a different approach to kitchen knife design.

Our round-tipped kitchen knives were created with a focus on thoughtful design, performance and safety in the kitchen.

Thank you for taking the time to hear and share our story.

Really interesting meeting with the Dominic Vanderstay, director of a Livingston company Be Blunt with a powerful story behind their product.

The idea started years ago after a conversation about the fear of kitchen knives being used as weapons. With growing concerns around knife crime and domestic violence, Be Blunt decided to look for a practical solution. Working with professional chefs, they’ve developed a safer kitchen knife designed to reduce risk without compromising on performance.

Great to see this kind of innovation coming from a local business.

“They look a little different at first… but they feel fantastic to use.”

That’s one of our favourite pieces of feedback.

Our rounded-tip kitchen knives are designed to give you the sharpness you need for everyday cooking, with an added focus on safety around the home.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave a review—it really does mean the world to a small business like ours. 💙
