And, even more importantly, make sure the protective cover has actually been taken off! 😳

It might sound obvious, but you’d be surprised how often we come across alarms that are still wrapped up and unable to do their job.

This is Rebecca…we all know the REAL boss and the business brains behind The Loft Job.

While Scott & Max are up in lofts covered in dust and insulation, Rebecca is the one keeping everything else running smoothly.

Exceptional customer service comes naturally to her and with a background in performance & music, she can handle just about any situation thrown her way… including keeping Scott in check daily 🤣

Those that know Rebecca know exactly how she manages to juggle so many plates at once and if you need something done or researched…she is your woman 👏

We hear time and time again that most trades people’s downfall is their communication and lack of business support… and that is exactly why Rebecca is such a huge part of The Loft Job.

Customers constantly comment on how helpful she is and truthfully, we would all be completely lost without her 👏

We just will not mention the multiple written warnings 😜🤣

This has never just been a 9 to 5, or even just a “business”. It has always been about transformation, growth and change.

Anyone who tells you running a business is easy is clearly not doing it right. This month marks 8 years of hard graft, late nights and lost weekends to get here. There have been plenty of highs, but also plenty of moments where we’ve asked ourselves, “Is this really worth it?”

As a family and as a couple, we’ve dug deep and kept our eyes firmly on moving forward. We’ve always aimed to bring the best possible service and products to our customers, and to do it with kindness along the way.

We’ve made mistakes and haven’t always got everything right, but here we are, stronger for it.

Thank you, as always, for every bit of support, every booking and every cheer from the sidelines. It really has been a team effort, and we are forever grateful.

MAX 👋

Our first hire… and without doubt, the biggest risk we’ve taken in our business so far.

After reviewing nearly 40 applicants, it was Max that stood out for all the right reasons. Family orientated, grounded, hardworking, and reliable. For us, those qualities matter more than anything else.

Max brings a solid mix of skills too, with training as an electrician and hands on experience in the DIY retail sector. He understands both the technical side and what customers really need.

Since joining, Max has made a huge impact on our small team with boosting productivity across the board and delivering excellent customer service.

Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying a round of golf, heading to festivals, or playing football ⚽️

His biggest achievement by far though is dealing with Scott’s poor jokes and questionable sense of humour 😄

We’re proud to have him on board. Welcome to the team, Max! 🙌
