Swapped the rotting wood for something that WON'T rot again 💪

❌ BEFORE: Door frame & skirting soft, crumbling, and holding moisture — the door edge was damaged too, water had got everywhere

✅ WHAT WE DID:
✂️ Cut out ALL wet/rotted timber right back to solid wood
🛠️ Repaired the door edge & rebuilt damaged sections with water-resistant wood filler
🧱 Fitted UPVC skirting board — completely moisture-proof, zero rot, zero swelling 💯
🎨 Sanded, prepped, and refinished — good as new!

No point replacing wood that's just going to soak up water and rot again. UPVC + proper repair = fixed FOR GOOD. This won't be coming back! 🙌
