Oh to be transported back in time by a simple but beautiful thing..

When adding these gorgeous jugs on our website yesterday , I had a genuine sense of nostalgia, a feeling of there being a gentle cottagey nod back to the days gone by. These beautiful, weighty jugs, really tugged on my heart strings as I unwrapped them from their box. They look so beautiful, I can’t wait to see them in full use, showcasing newly gathered spring flowers in all their blousy glory..

It’s sooo fresh outside! But oh how pretty the countryside is when the sunshine twinkles on the frost. I have to admit to being a little excited to add these gorgeous recycled cotton food covers to our website today… I’ve been eagerly waiting them arriving. I love how they offer such a pretty solution to a practical job, all whilst being kind to the planet. I will be treating myself to a set for certain (they’re small enough to sneak past Mark and pop them straight in the tea towel drawer, then by the time I use them, can legitimately say, “oh we’ve had these for ages”..). So naughty 😁! Happy Sunday lovely people.. xx

The first festive flavoured orders are starting to arrive here at Little Cottage… and as we spent time wrapping our Christmas themed treasures, it created a warm excited feeling in me… So, last night I decided to have a little cheeky Buck’s Fizz and I have to say, it absolutely did spark the question in my mind.. when is too soon to put up twinkly lights?
