Roof Repair.
Broken tile, damaged felt and rotten battens causing water ingress to the property. Inspection also revealed an incorrectly installed bonding gutter from next doors recent roof replacement, falling short of the guttering and likely to cause further damage if left unresolved.

✅ Temporary fix completed to stop the leak. 🏠 Quote requested for a full roof replacement.

Another job completed, transforming a garage door into a fully insulated cavity wall, finished with external pebble dash render.

Code 4 lead was dressed over the blockwork and behind a new UPVC fascia to ensure a neat, weatherproof finish where the existing roof provided no overhang. Anti-vandal paint was also applied to help protect the leadwork from potential theft.

Another roofing project completed ✅

Full replacement of the existing natural slate roof with new fibre cement slates, including new UPVC fascias, soffits and guttering.

The single-storey extension roof was also replaced with new slates, extra insulation in the loft space and new UPVC, with dry ridge systems installed to both the main roof and extension.

GRP Flat Roof Replacement
Another GRP flat roof completed by DPM Plastering & Building.
The existing bitumen felt and straw boards were removed back to the joists. Due to significant warping of the original 4x2 joists, new 6x2 structural joists were installed, followed by a new 18mm OSB3 T&G decking system.
New GRP trims were fitted, fibreglass matting installed and a durable grey topcoat applied to provide a fully sealed, watertight finish.

Another quality fibre cement slate roof completed for some great customers in Risca.
This project included a full strip of the old roof, removing the slates, felt and battens before installing a new breathable membrane, treated battens and fibre cement slates. We also fitted low-profile bonding gutters, removed the chimney, installed new lead valleys, a dry ridge system, and finished it off with new fascia, soffits and guttering.
