Another summer house completed✅

So here you see 2 summer houses. Unfortunately for this lovely couple they came into contact with some rouge builders🤦🏽‍♂️ the first summer house you see is the the finished product done by us, the photos go backwards to when we started the base of this build.

The photos then start on the summer house from the cowboys before and we’ve never seen workmanship quite so bad🤦🏽‍♂️ from the base being sat straight on the concrete base (soaking up all the water) with no insulation, puddles on top of the moisture barrier, no noggins in the whole building, no OSB board so the building had no structure what so ever, a felt roof that was stapled on and a 2 meter over hang the client didn’t want in the first place with no supports to keep it up🤦🏽‍♂️ that’s just what we can remember.

Unfortunately this building had to be taken down and re-built the right way. We tried the salvage as much as we could but the majority is new.

We wanted to show the customer how smooth a job should run with people they could trust.

We are now on Checkatrade, if we have previously done work for you if you could spare 2 minutes to give us a review that would be amazing.

Thank you, GW

Our biggest project to date, completed a few weeks ago for Cwmbran Rugby Club.

From emptying a (small) storage cupboard which ended up filling half of the function room with a mixture of old club memorabilia, cleaning supplies and a whole lot of junk to a fully useable serving kitchen which will help the club profoundly.

It was a first for us being able to run a job like this, plenty more paper work than usual, plenty of other trades to organise but I think the result speaks for its self.

• Ripping out the old storage shelving and gutting the room, which surprisingly opened it up more than we was expecting

• Having the boiler disconnected and moved

•Full rewire

• Stud work and ply boarding the inside ready for the sheets of white rock to be installed

• Plastering the outside of the bar area

• New doors, Linings, dado, skirtings and architraves fitted

•knock through to the outside, Lintel and serving hatch installed. Roller shutter installed in the bar area

• Kitchen fitted

• Floor was self levelled and finished with cap and cove flooring

•Patching in the oak work in the bar

All while keeping the rugby club open to host all their clubs throughout the day and the bar open every evening.
