An exceptional year for tomatoes! Here's one of the harvests of tomatoes for sauce I just did.
8 plants have so far yielded several hauls like this. And there's still loads more green ones to ripen!

Watch my allotment transform over 8 months in this incredible time lapse, from the cold days of winter through to a thriving summer vegetable garden.

Thousands of photos captured by my camera reveal the complete growing season in just a few minutes, showing every stage of growth as the allotment comes to life.

You'll see vegetables emerge from bare soil, plants race skywards, beds fill with colour, and the allotment change day by day before your eyes.

If you've ever wondered what an entire growing season looks like from start to finish, this is it.

Whether you're new to allotment gardening, enjoy gardening in the UK, or simply love satisfying garden time lapses, I hope you enjoy watching this amazing transformation.

If you enjoy the video, please consider following for more allotment gardening videos, vegetable growing tips, harvests, greenhouse updates, polytunnel projects, and seasonal gardening guides.

There's a reason so many gardeners become obsessed with heritage tomatoes... πŸ…

Unlike most supermarket tomatoes, which are often bred for shelf life, uniformity and transport, heritage varieties have been passed down through generations because of one thing above all else: flavour.

From incredibly sweet to rich, tangy and even smoky, every variety has its own unique taste, colour and texture. Picked fresh from the vine at peak ripeness, they offer a depth of flavour that's hard to find in shop-bought tomatoes.

Once you've tasted a truly ripe heritage tomato, it's difficult to go back!

Have you ever grown or tasted heritage tomatoes? Which variety is your favourite? πŸ‘‡πŸ…

Charlotte salad potatoes! Here is 7.5kg which I harvested today, and I could not believe it. All of this has come from just x8 seed potatoes! 8 plants! Possibly one of the best potato harvest I've had yet. Charlotte potatoes are a waxy salad potato - great for potato salad!
