When I chose to become a painter and decorator, the best version of me began ✨

Every job, every challenge and every transformation reminds me why I chose this path. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come and grateful to be doing something I genuinely love. 🫶🏼

This week’s completed jobs: Kitchen & Bathroom

Kitchen transformation
The kitchen had already been stripped before I started, so this one was all about the prep! The walls were thoroughly prepared, primed and painted in Easycare Kitchen – Almond White. The ceiling was finished in Pure Brilliant White, and all woodwork was undercoated before being finished in Dulux Trade Gloss for a fresh, clean finish.

Bathroom refresh
This one needed a little prep work, but was mainly a freshen-up! The ceiling was painted in Pure Brilliant White, the walls refreshed in Bright Skies, and all woodwork was undercoated before being finished in Gloss.

All paints used are Dulux or Dulux Trade

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business. Every booking, recommendation, share and kind word means more than you know.

Bedroom Refresh 🤎

What a difference a fresh colour palette can make! This bedroom has been transformed using Valspar Premium, custom mixed to Pale Walnut and Candle Cream (both beautiful shades from the Dulux Heritage range) 🤎

The two colours complement each other perfectly and have created such a warm, cosy feel in the room.

I started by prepping the walls, then caulked and primed all of the panelling before getting stuck into the painting. The ceiling was finished in Dulux Walls & Ceilings Brilliant White, with all the woodwork finished in Dulux Eggshell.

I absolutely love how this room has come together.
Another reminder that the right colours can completely transform a space!
Now ready for a couple of days rest ready to start my next customer project next week 👌🏻

My friend braved the brown… and I honestly think she made the best choice! 🤎

This room needed a LOT more prep than I had anticipated, but we got there eventually… and the before & after is pretty crazy! 👌🏻

The most stunning brown giving the cosiest, warmest feel. 🤎

So, if someone tells you “don’t paint it brown”…

Paint it brown! 😂

Can’t wait to show you the transformation this week

Hallway transformation complete!

What a difference! 💚

The customer had already stripped most of the wallpaper before I arrived, so I got to work removing the remaining bits before tackling lots of prep to get these walls ready.

Once everything was prepped, the walls were sized and I installed lining paper… definitely not my favourite job 😂 but we got there!

Then came the fun part… paint!

All paints used were Dulux with white refreshed ceilings, Village Maze on the walls, and finished off with the woodwork primed and then painted in Dulux Trade Satinwood. Doors were left as these are being replaced.

A complete transformation and the green is just lovely 🫶🏻

Another hallway ticked off the list! ✔️

From where we started ➡️ to where we are now! 👀

Brand new job started this week.

The customer had already stripped most of the old wallpaper, so I started by removing the remaining bits before tackling the walls….

There’s been A LOT of filling, sanding and prep, followed by lining paper to give a much better surface to work with.

On Friday I applied a watered-down coat over the lining paper, ready for me to fill and sand the seams on Monday. Then it’s onto the exciting bit… two top coats and the transformation will really start to come together! 🙌🏻

It’s amazing what goes on underneath that final coat of paint! 🤍
