Preparation is the key to success 🔑

This was part of some preparation work before we started a major landscaping project in Dronfield earlier this week.

This freshly soiled up, incredibly steep banking was to be chemically treated to remove the w**d growth before it gets Hydroseeded.

We equipped a specialised, extra-long lance to cover the entire area without stepping foot on the banking itself.

This small but key piece of prep ensures that there is no competition for the incoming seed, greatly increasing the chances of successful growth and eradicating w**d intrusion.

Professional w**d control 🌱

This before and after of a renovation on a site in Leeds that had not been maintained previously is a great example of what a difference removing overgrown w**ds can make.

The rear fire escape was unrecognisable among the vast amounts of w**ds, self-seeded saplings and Buddleia, which all had to be cut out. Once the access path was restored and the area cleared, we finished with a chemical treatment to kill the remaining roots and deter any regrowth.

The site provides accommodation for more than 1,000 students, making it essential that the grounds remain attractive, safe and easy to maintain throughout the year.

We carried out a full soft landscape renovation across the site, carefully removing tired and overgrown planting before introducing a fresh, contemporary planting design 🌿
