FloodSax alternative sandbags have played a key role in the first ever scout flood badge which has been strongly praised by the Government.
All the scouting sections – squirrels, beavers, cubs and scouts - took part in the BeFloodReady Scouts Camp Day at Raywell Park Scout Activity Centre near Cottingham in East Yorkshire as part of Flood Action Week.

Thousands of homes are being built in flood risk areas across the UK every year according to insurance giant Aviva.
Even more worrying, the trend is set to not only continue but accelerate.

It looks like it’s going to be a wet and windy autumn and early winter with the risk of flooding across the UK.
