Recent new paint job at the Venture Properties
Crook office..
The bottom half of this frontage was definatley in need of some TLC and repainting....
It was also pointed out that the guttering needed slight repair which was also carried out....
Window sills and lintels where also finished in a pretty decent anthracite grey colour..
Just in time for the rainy season 🙄😭

Bedroom Project...

This room started as a Mdf shell with work previously done by another contractor....
My job was to go in and turn Renee's vision into reality....
Alot of squares and rectangles were involved in this one!!!.
Firstly dado and skirting boards were installed along with two door frame architrave.
Then once we discussed where the picture panneling should be placed each was cut and applied to the walls....
MDF is very porous material and is no good to apply heavy paint to the surface bare as it won't adhere and after time will peel...
So Undercoat was used to cover the whole room before two coats of 'Chinese white' from Craig and rose was used to bring it all together.
Final work for the walls was to wallpaper between the two fitted wardrobes

The Purrrrfect end to today's list of Jobs.....
Catio project completed..
Constructed for the ground up and spec decided by customer for placement of internal housing/ ladders and shelving - platforms for the moggies..
I could tell that shaun the cat and his brothers and sisters will love this as I had plenty of interest while trying to build 😻😂😂..

Recent floor project!!!..
Previous trades had gone to carry out work on this property and ended up going through this original rotting floor.....
So first job was to remove all floor boards/ rotton joists and clean up previous debris from underneath original floor....
Then came the start of the rebuild...
This had to be planned carefully as the other floors in the dining room were concrete so it was essential that the new floor was level to this for a seamless finish when in the future new floor will be laid by HPS....
New joists were then fixed into position with 400mm centres to ensure strength and durability..
Also plenty of bracing timbers were screwed to structure before Weyrock sheet material was laid and screwed into position.....
The entrance way was also completed in this property as rot had its way with that surface too....
Plenty of other projects to come with this one so keep an eye out 👀.
All materials were supplied by Build & Plumb

Recent fence work carried out in the hottest weather I have ever been in 🥵🥵🥵..
Thankfully there were plenty of kind people on the street to offer me plenty of cold and hot fluids 😍..
So firstly removal of the old rotton fence was completed....
Then new posts set into place ready for new rails and boards followed by the gate build and install...
All materials were supplied by S and A Crook branch..

Recent Kitchen project... 🔥

Old extractor fan and hob was removed first of all and sink unplumbed and removed.....
Old worktops were then replaced with sandstone square edge profile..
New holes were cut to fit new hob and and existing sink...
A new extractor fan was installed and proper ducting used and installed as the last one didn't have one!!!!..
Sink was refitted and plumbed in again then hob installation..
Unfortunately didn't get before pictures but can tell you this has transformed this busy kitchen space..

Recent roof work done on this log store/ garden tools store.
Old one had definitely seen better days
So firstly this was removed
Leaving some frame work to attend to....
Then fully boarded ready for some membrane and felt work... Boards and other materials were supplied by ..
Once the roof was completed a new guttering system was installed...
New bolts were also added to the doors to finish...

Busy busy week up in sunny Seaton Delaval 🌞

Skirting boards and architrave installed in bathroom / kitchen and bedroom.
False ceiling built and clad in the bathroom
Materials from for a flawless finish.
Shower enclosure installed along with shower unit fitted and cladding installed along with trims..
Then boxing around pipework to finish.
Basin waste plumbed in and basin secured and siliconed.
Tiling completed in the kitchen and window sill .
Walls lined and ready for painting and decorating....
Paint correction carried out in a few spots of living area then painted with white emulsion..
Next week there will be internal doors installed from and this project will. Be completed then on to the next one 💪

Thankyou to for letting me carry out work to his property..
Also for his plumbing expertise this week

Feature wall part 2....
Part of today's work was to return to this bedroom where I had previously added panelling....
With this been a freshly plastered wall first off was the all important mist coat....
Then durable matt was used to paint the bottom half in a nice purple tint....
Then wallpaper was hung from which was paste the wall type which always saves on mess.👌....
A couple of pictures were then hung to finish.

Massive write up on this one so if you get bored just look at the pictures and videos everyone 😂.....
So did it again and expertly organised a full refurb to be carried out at on the gents changing rooms.....
Got a call asking if I could help out which I always take pleasure in doing!!..
First of all on the list was full rip out of tiled walls and flooring which after 6 years or so of abuse and poor install in the first place may as well of required arm bands.... Water everywhere underneath!!!!..
Once removed the existing timbers were so rotton I could put my fingers through it and unknown things were growing on it 🤮 😂 ..
So rebuilding walls was next!!!..
Followed by reboarding then proper tanking applied..
The ceiling that was once white once changed to black with a coat of allcoat black and new ceiling tiles ordered were installed..
Then a new hex lighting was installed effortlessly by us both lol with me passing the screws and holding it up when required... Quite a laugh 🙄😂..
New flooring installed and wall cladding in grey and black with black trims throughout!!..
Black enclosures built and installed then installed all pipework, new urinal, new basin all fixtures and fittings while I went for a protein shake for the gains 💪🤣...
