Fusion Fencing is looking for an experienced fencing operative to join our growing team, based near Worksop and covering the Midlands.

Previous fencing experience and experience operating post drivers are essential. You must be reliable, take pride in your workmanship and be willing to undertake all aspects of the work, from site preparation and removing existing fencing through to installation and finishing.

Sectors we work in:

* Agriculture & livestock — high tensile stock fencing, horse fencing, post and rail, and gates.
* Solar & renewable energy — perimeter fencing and access gates for solar farms and energy sites.
* Commercial & industrial — security fencing, V-mesh, palisade, railings and gates.
* Estates & forestry — deer fencing, woodland and plantation protection, and estate fencing.
* Construction & site enabling — temporary fencing, Heras fencing and hoarding.
* Residential & leisure — timber fencing, caravan sites and equestrian facilities.

What we offer:

* Guaranteed minimum pay of £250 per day, or metre rate — whichever is greater.
* Company truck available, or an allowance for using your own suitable vehicle.

An old-timer I looked up to once told me:

“Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Although the same chap also used to say:

“Hard work never killed anyone—it just turned them into funny shapes.”

There’s a great deal of satisfaction in learning a craft and taking genuine pride in doing it properly.

To most people, a fence is simply a fence. But to us fencing obsessives, every detail matters: the levels, the terminations and joints—even something as small as driving a staple across the grain so it doesn’t split the post.

Many of those details may go unnoticed by everyone else, but they determine whether a fence merely looks acceptable today or remains straight, secure and dependable for years to come.

That’s the standard we work towards at Fusion Fencing—not because everybody will notice every detail, but because we do.

We have been making some slight alterations to the carpark and to entrance of carpark the gates on now finally on 😊 thanks to Chris Chester and his team, Fusion group industries LTD another fantastic job finished to perfection and thankyou to Daniel Fores for your expect digger driving for the maintenance and extension of the carpark 😁

A “Top wiring” job completed on the boundary of the Chatsworth Estate, helping to control deer numbers and protect the surrounding land including a newly planted woodland area.

This project presented some unique challenges, with difficult access behind the famous “ha-ha” boundary. Thanks to our tracked machinery and the skill of our experienced operator, we were able to complete the work safely and efficiently.

The fence was fully strained and boxed using creosote posts to ensure strength, durability, and longevity. We also installed several access gates, including a bespoke custom-built flood gate to suit the site’s specific requirements.

A great project to be involved in and another quality installation delivered by the team.
