With the scaffold now removed I was able to tackle the final bits of the back repoint in Atherton. Pleased with how this one came out.⚒️ I shall continue with the Tyldesley job then will be taking a small break to repair a chimney stack at the back of my own house that's over 40 feet high 😅 anyone that's booked in will have to bear with me 🤣

Here we go! So this week has seen us complete the takedown and rebuild/restoration of this back garden wall which was in dire straits...all work carried out thoroughly and to our high standards here at SPQ. Customer is extremely pleased with this job and the wall has well and truly been dragged into the 21st century. Onto the next one we go...😅👍⚒️🧱

This week has seen us take down this double skin brickwork above the garage..install an RSJ to safely hold up the new brickwork...clean up the bricks to then rebuild but slightly different and single skin this time. Customer is happy and can go about getting a new garage door sometime in the near future. Another one down and look forward to the next 👍😃🧱⚒️

Here we go! Old shed/Air Raid shelter knocked down once all the Ivy was dealt with 🌿😅 old small garden steps taken away and replaced with Porcelain steps...curved garden wall partially taken down and rebuilt along with some fresh coping stones. 6ft'4ft shed base dug out and concreted at the top of the garden also. Safe to say I underestimated the shed that was certainly built to last! But this garden is now fully prepped and ready for the landscapers (Cheshire grab and Driveways) who are laying imprinted concrete. Don't hesitate to contact these guys for all landscaping needs! Here we go! The front of this semi-detached house required some patching of the render on the top half. Now this is something I have minimal experience with, and I knew I'd be more comfortable doing this if I called in assistance from someone with a bit more experience in this field. So that's exactly what I did. Chris from CW Building Services was calm and thorough as we handled this part of the job. The render was painted to look like new at a later date. The bottom half of the house needed grinding out fully and repointing. As well as painting the render I also painted the wooden features near the front door. As always Jake from Core Access Solutions provided the scaffold for access. Another job under the belt and more importantly another happy customer! Onto the next one...😅⚒️🧱

So this week I've been busy in the Tyldesley area, contributed to the restoration of a garden shed in Shakerley and bricked up a small window (block on inside) and removed the old soldier course from above the back window and installed a concrete lintel, then bricked up above it. Then in the town centre area of Tyldesley I laid some fresh quarry tiles at a back door 😎 sometimes the smaller jobs are just as satisfying as the bigger ones. Hope everyone had a great Easter 👍⚒️🧱
