“I think this is the best of the affordable units.

I bought this for growing lettuce indoors in the summertime, or all year round for that matter. I searched through dozens and decided on this one not only for the price, but more importantly for the height you can raise the light. Even the super expensive ones don’t extend this tall.

Even though I really wish the unit was larger and the individual holes were spaced further apart, this is as good or better than other units in spacing. I highly recommend this one. I now have three. Seriously.”

Low Water in Your Hydroponic Garden? 💧

A low water level usually calls for a top-up, not a full water change. Check the water before refilling. If it looks cloudy or smells unusual, replace it and clean the reservoir.

If you have an EC meter, check the nutrient strength before adding more nutrients. 🌱

Keep Harvesting Swiss Chard This Fall 🥬

Making a quick stir-fry? Cut a few of the larger outer leaves and leave the center of the plant growing. You can cook the stems, too. 🌱
