Finally got around to labelling that lovely-looking jelly and here it is. It’s a Strawberry & Apple dollop of tastiness, it captures the Summer just past and there’s just 5 jars until next year (expect plenty of jars around May/June). We’re hard at work freezing bags of chopped Apples ready for the first Strawberries of 2027. 🙂

Well we’ve started a big clean up in the garden, and have a few ‘before’ pictures but haven’t got to the stage where we can show you an ‘after’ one as yet. 😊

Meanwhile there’s an all-new Spicy Bramley Apple Chutney to grace your cheeseboard, and a lovely Apple Jelly that has a hint of Rosemary to it - both now added to the Honesty Box.

More new stuff to come this week too with a seriously nice Apple & Raspberry Jelly already waiting in the wings.

And we best crack on with preparing for Garlic & Onion planting, and sowing some Wild Garlic about the place. Onwards! 😊

Down to the last few jars of Honey & the last 2 jars of Blackcurrant & Liquorice Jelly! It’s been incredible support already - another big thank you to everyone involved. Our jam monkeys have been hard at work this weekend creating another batch of our Bramble Jelly - or Sam Jam as we’re calling it this year. Every Blackberry was foraged around The Neale GAA here in Cong, and each batch contains blackberries that were foraged the very same evening that local heroes Tommy Conroy & Tom Lydon, along with their victorious Mayo teammates, brought the Sam Maguire trophy to Cong (see photo).

The first batch of Sam Jam disappeared on Saturday morning so we’ll put plenty in the Honesty Box and hopefully put more smiles on your faces.

Support your local Bakery. Buy some scones. Smother them in Sam Jam. Fire up the All Ireland final highlights (again!). Enjoy! 💚 ❤️
