Capturing this view from all of the living spaces and bedrooms was the driving factor behind the design of Site 1, Harbours Edge, Lower Aghada.

It seems to have worked out well.!

Not all Planning Applications get Granted.

There are always building designs on Architects servers and drawing boards that will never be built for numerous reasons, and we don't normally tend to show them off.

The Refusal was not due to the design, but concerns about access and road safety.

Situated in a coastal area on an elevated outcrop, the design was intended to be light and transparent to minimise it's impact on the landscape.

Planning Permission Granted this week for this modern industrial style two bedroom house.

The house is on an infill site with direct access to the beach and it's own private slipway.

In an Architectural Conservation Area, the house is designed to float above an old historic boathouse which will be kept as a workshop underneath.
