I don’t think we talk enough about what it is to be an Interior Designer.

Good design isn’t about more drawings, more revisions or more hours.

Undermount Sink Installation Guide | 🔧”

Installing an undermount sink during your kitchen renovation? If not done correctly, you’ll face water leakage, visible joints, and countertop damage. Here’s the professional way to install it for a seamless, durable, and modern kitchen design:

Step 1 – Plywood Cutting:
Take the exact measurement of the inner top of the kitchen sink bowl and cut the same size on plywood. This creates a solid base for the undermount sink installation.

Step 2 – Fixing the Sink:
Apply neutral cure silicone sealant on plywood and fix the sink tightly. Silicone ensures waterproofing, flexibility, and long-lasting adhesion.

Step 3 – Countertop Cutting:
When cutting the kitchen countertop stone (granite, quartz, or marble), take the same measurement as the sink but reduce it by 1 inch smaller than the bowl size. This hides the sink junction, giving a premium, seamless finish without visible edges.

Step 4 – Water Protection Groove:
Cut a 2 mm groove, 6 mm inside the countertop stone. This small detail prevents water from reaching the sink–stone joint, ensuring the undermount sink lasts longer without leakage or damage.
