Some things feel too special to be just a coincidence. 🤍

Ever since I started travelling, Lonely Planet has been part of my journeys. My first guides were Lonely Planets, and over the years I’ve become a bit of a collector.

So discovering that our little place in Florence is now featured in one of these guides feels incredibly special.
And the best part is that we never asked for it. No submissions, no requests. We simply found ourselves there — thanks to some guests - in the pages of a guide that has accompanied me for so many years.

It makes me so proud of what we are building, and of all the work, care and passion that goes into this place every single day.
I wish I could share this moment with my daddy. He was a passionate traveller too, and I know he would have been so happy to see this.
And somehow, it happened on the very same day I decided to book my next winter trip.

Maybe things really don’t happen by chance.

Florence’s center is the worst place to stay…
…unless you know the secret.
Most tourists end up in noisy, overpriced areas.
We’re 10 minutes from the Duomo, but in a peaceful local neighborhood.
